"SNIP.......
Rudy Giuliani signaled on Saturday that President Donald Trump and his legal team are severing ties to Michael Cohen, the president's longtime former personal attorney.
"We have complained to them that he's violated the attorney client privilege, publicly and privately," Giuliani, Trump's current attorney, told ABC News, following reported comments Cohen has made relating to Trump's presidential campaign and private life.
Giuliani confirmed the two sides have ended their joint defense agreement to share information.
After initially saying he would defend his longtime friend and employer, Cohen has increasingly signaled that he is taking a more confrontational approach in his relationship with the president following the FBI raid on his business premises and temporary residence in April, in which recordings of conversations with Trump were seized.

so much crap has happened in that time span that I can't begin to imagine which set of events might have soured him.
He knows how to push cheato's buttons, just getting the idiot to think certain things could send him off the cliff... but I don't think that he's going there.
It's been reported that the tapes and leaks weren't from Cohen so they were leaked by someone who isn't real bright and may be thinking they can get ahead of this one tentacle of the monster, and they are wrong. I think whta Cohen has will bring a whole bunch of these criminal in, and I am sure he knows all about the money laundering and where ther bodies are buried. He needs to lay low now as I am sure his life is in danger.
[I had to get off the computer earlier as there was a sudden deluge of walnut sized hail hitting my window while the sun was out. Third big storm to pass by in about three hours. these clouds are big enough to cover two or three eastern states, we get a lot of severe weather alerts around here this time of year. At least these are carrying water, usually this is when the whole state catches on fire, so far we've been spared a repeat of last year's fires and drought. I can still see the cloud even a hundred miles off, it still covers a large part of the sky, still dropping big hail.)

(86,515 posts)and I don't know how many wildfires are started each year by them, it gets really bad when there is no rain with them. This year we've had flooding, worse than last year, but the rain has been coming regularly enough to keep it from being super dry. We've also not had week after week of high 90s with no rain. I remember that back in the 1970s and80s, it never got that hot up here and we had really bitter cold in the winmter... I haven't seen that in several years either.
I am glad that our fire season is getting a late, slow start. Last couple years it's been so smokey thatI felt like a three pack a day smoker for weeks each summer, this year we've only had a little blown in from elsewhere. Up along the continental divide, we get smoke from everywhere west of us during this time of year, you can see the edges of the plumes of smoke, sometimes overlapping, like we had last year.
Do stay safe, we've had several tornado events in the eastern part of the state already... one took off with a 50,000lbs farm tractor and I haven't heard that they've found it yet and that was two weeks ago or more.
