With the court rulings that are now pressing no charges in cases where black men are pushing back when a white man picks a fight, it is going to encourage white men to walk around with racist grudges knowing that they have a gun under their shirt that will give them the upper hand.

I suspect that'll be reversed, but even if it's not, it's certainly not the norm. SYG laws require proportionality. Unless you're reasonably in fear that your life is at risk--something not likely if you're an adult male facing an unarmed adult male--the law won't apply. The spokesperson in the case I'm thinking of misquoted the law and said something like "in fear of harm".

3. There is a recent case that had video. It looked like

the black man was backing off, but the white man on the ground took his gun out and shot him in the back. I think the white guy instigated the whole thing. Another Zimmerman situation.
