Instead of "Zero tolerance policy," use "Kidnapping and torture come at human, political cost."

This should never leave the front pages as long as it is happening. The MSM should have a day count, like they did during the Iranian hostage crisis. I remember Nightline would start every broudcast with "Day 129" or however many days it had been since our embassy workers were taken hostage by Iranian revolutionaries.

Something like:

NUMBER OF DAYS SINCE CHILDREN AT SO. BORDER HAVE BEEN SEPARATED FROM PARENTS: (#)

NUMBER OF CHILDREN STILL SEPARATED SINCE COURT ORDERED REUNION WITH FAMILIES: (#)

NUMBER OF INFANTS WHOSE IDENTITIES HAVE BEEN LOST BY ICE: (#)

And nearby in a box should be the UN definition of crimes against humanity from this link and others: http://www.un.org/en/genocideprevention/crimes-against-humanity.html

We don't even know for how long, let alone how many are lost. CNN reports the average length of caging has been 57 days. https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/28/politics/separated-kids-what-next/index.html
