6. In the face of all these polls, why are goprs doubling down on trump? You would think their

choice is to either: 1) let the DEMS potentially fix government this fall without the gop...or...2) the gop can begin oversight and resistance themselves, getting credit for helping overturn what is obviously a really really bad mistake of letting the least qualified, most onerous human run the world.

They are clearly NOT pursuing oversight and correction. So that leaves the potential for option #1... having the people crush gop candidiates this fall and install responsible legislators. Why would the gop go this way?
