I think he should be willing to sit down and talk to the President. He would have the ability to urge the President to do things that could help people from his community. Lebron James and Democrats should remember the words of John F. Kennedy, "Let us never negotiate out of fear. But let us never fear to negotiate". We should also consider the Hamilton song Room Where It Happens. Not all of us can be in the room where it happens. Those of us who can should take advantage of that opportunity.

Your point is VERY well-taken. LeBron would be used by trump for a cheap promotional photo op, and he would lend a little bit of his own luster to trump, giving him a default vote of legitimacy. I've read plenty about what shit he tries to pull underneath dinner tables when there's a female within easy reach and he knows nobody can see.
