(27,801 posts)Every bad thing people said would happen about Citizens United has happened and the Koch brothers can take much of the responsibility. If it didn't turn out quite the way they planned, well, whoops.

I love it.

(24,753 posts)Considering the study all the Trumpers have been crowing about that was a Koch backed think tank spouting inflated numbers for what Medicare for All would cost. I'm curious to see some of them blow a gasket trying to decide which of their abusive parents they want to stay with.

(7,430 posts)of globalism. Of course, Trumpy lies. The Russian oligarchs and those from other countries are, indeed, globalists. Thats where the big money and power is. White nationalism gives them populist support. Its a means to an end. Nothing more.

(12,647 posts)A classic Liberal is a free market liberal. Basically, a corpoatist. A social liberal is pretty much a Social Democrat that balances social or common welfare with capitalism - or "the center-left" politically. A Marxist Liberal is one who believes that there should be no real private property, but a more communal sharing of resources with a common or central determination on who needs more resources than the others. A radical leftist.

I was a bit confused. I did not think I marched in the same parade with Mr. Koch.

(1,568 posts)That any public figure - much less a president- says things like this in a public arena. Can you fathom Bush or Queen Elizabeth making whiny, third-grade kid statements like this every time a criticism came up? I cannot wrap my brain around the childishness of this idiot we have in office.

(15,237 posts)Old white men pissing on each other is disgustiing in the nursing home. In this case it is so enjoyable. Are you watching young people? Get off your seat after all you are going to outlive these assholes put them away before they piss on you. Vote, participate, do not take No for an answer. Read some human history, the nasty old men can really hurt you before they die.

Billionaires know Trump and his organization are crooks, hurting the country. The Kochs are not going to let that happen.

(54,344 posts)Here'S what Trump now has to say about his former sugar-daddies:
"The globalist Koch Brothers, who have become a total joke in real Republican circles, are against Strong Borders and Powerful Trade. I never sought their support because I dont need their money or bad ideas."
Trump doesn't need their money? How about all those Republican candidates for Senate and the House? Nearly ALL of them need Koch money.
Dare I say "needed?"

We know Drumpf is the front man/bag man for Putin.
Now, we just need to see if Koch has enough money/jobs bribes to keep his mid-west/bible belt minions loyal, or if Putin can use "the Church" as leverage against Koch.
