Someone posted info about a protest on DU and I fear

that it may be one that was organized by Russians and was posted on Facebook. I read it here a few days ago...a protest being organized to have a Black Lives Matter/ anti-North Carolina rally. I can't find it now though.

CNN has been running the story that Facebook has spotted several RUSSIAN CREATED PROTESTS to instigate more violence and division. If you know of this protest or others always double check the sources please. If you plan on attending a protest stay peaceful and safe! There are real groups like The Proud Boys who want to start fights...DO NOT FALL FOR IT!

Thank you. I just added it to my post. I just heard on CNN that the date is Aug. 12th which matches the date in the article. I am really leery now and just want everyone else to be aware that this is STILL going on. Facebook has noticed it (this time...too little too late Fuckerberg).

Always be careful to check sources. When I post under Activist Headquarters I get my info via gmail from the organization's that are legit (MoveOn, Act Blue, Indivisible, etc.). We all need to be extremely watchful, especially leading up to the midterms. The Fucking Moron and his Russian backed admin as well as the Russian backed GOP reps in both chambers are allowing them to attack the US. We are under cyber attack and will be until the admin changes and/or Dems win the midterms.

Facebook and Twitter are finally stepping up to secure the social media propaganda but they are barely able to make a dent. The Russians are decades ahead of us since this has been one of their strategies for 25+ years.

"WARNING WARNING WARNING...Danger Wil Robinson" should be our motto. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE! Do not trust the current admin, GOP Congress and Social Media!!!!!
