Even the "open" MRI I was in was incredibly loud and still somewhat claustrophia-inducing.

I was in an MRI tube with th noise before they had open ones. Now just looking at that video is a bit of a trigger.

That thing is way too creepy for words.
Better to keep an eye on building code compliance and earthquake retrofitting for all buildings, because you are probably not going to be in bed when the Big One hits. Your kids will be in school and you will be at work or shopping.
