What scares you more, a Constitutional Convention or D. Trump?

I am definitely gonna go with the C.C. for sure. Yea, Trump scare me, however a C.C. could make D. Trump "President" for life. In my opinion, with eyes still on Trump, we gotta keep that other eye on Congress.

Thank god there are still enough rational local politicians that realize the import of allowing this to happen.

Not just the right either.

But it doesn't have any traction now, or then.

We can clean up most of Trumps mess, but a a constitutional convention will fundamentally change this country, permanently. The US will cease to exist as we know it.

and within a decade, we'll be hating on the next Republican who will no doubt be worse than Trump, who is worse than W, who is worse than Bush and so on.

But a constitutional convention? That doesn't go away.

(Alright, fine..it's not like I say this all the time, but I have said it before)

CONSERVATIVE POLITICAL IDEOLOGY CAN NOT WIN UNLESS THEY CHEAT.

And a Constitutional Convention would allow them the ultimate cheat. Based on demographics, conservatives could easily split the vote and change the 1st amendment, for instance, installing Christianity as the law of the land.

Then...well...pretty much kiss your freedoms goodbye.
