(654 posts)My mom was 6 months pregnant with me She also had my 18 mo old sister with her as well. She hid in the middle hallway of her apartment with my sister. It tore the roof off her apt building. Our apartment was on the second floor of a three story building. We were living in Curtiss Apartments at the time.

(54,447 posts)We only have 6 more days vacation and then the real world starts again for 11 months. The only distraction I ever welcomed while I'm here (Truro, Massachusetts) was the one I received 6 years ago.*
*When you get an email asking if you would like an hour with President Barack Obama in Washington, the first answer that pops into your mind is NOT "no, thanks, I'm on vacation--some other time, perhaps."
