The FCC Fairness Doctrine applied only to broadcast (as in on-the-air) license holders, and should have not been nullified.

We have a far more massive problem in today's world of the internet where Drudge and Breitbart, et al reside and for which there is no legal controls of fairness or accuracy. It's the Wild West of the information world where all users need to be wary of everything.

And, I also don't believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that the Doctrine applied to cable networks where Faux News exists.

I certainly do agree with the basic premise of the post......

We really should be making lists of all the horribleness that has happened over the years that we want to fix with a Democratic majority. The last time was spent getting Health Care and then we lost the majority.

I guess the first thing to do is figure out how not to lose the majority.
