Tonight's race and the Rocky saga.

A win is a win is a win. On the proverbial other hand there is nobility and honor in trying mightily and falling short. The Republican congressman who retired won OH 12 by thirty seven points:

For fans of the Rocky saga he lost his first bout with the seemingly invincible and heretofore undefeated Apollo Creed after taking him to a decision and losing it and came back to beat him in the rematch. Rocky got a moral victory in the first bout and a real victory in the second bout.

I am hoping and praying for a win like everybody here but I am comfortable with either and know we have made strides into taking a non-competitive district and making it uber competitive. This bodes well for the mid terms in districts where Republicans don't start with a thirty seven point advantage.

I can smell the sweat of Deplorables, i.e. Republicans in the 12th District of Ohio all the way over here in the Golden State. It stinks

Go Danny. All decent people are in your corner.
