Last week, all the boards and blogs were abuzz with the NRA's sob story about how they were in such dire danger of being financially insolvent. It caught the whole country's attention--for about ten minutes.

This week---NRA might as well stand for Nosy Russian Assholes. The story seems to have vanished in a puff of smoke. The gun nuts have moved on to their next propaganda project. They floated the financial difficulty balloon, with all of the NRA's usual credibility behind it, and it sank like the lead in their bullets. Oh, well.
