GOP leadership has to know they're going to have to cut Trump loose before 2020.

I think they may try to steal some of the thunder of taking him out by trying to install Pence.

The big question would be: do Trump's Russian buddies have the goods on GOP leadership that would limit what they can do?

It's a much different time than 1974 because the GOP appear to have sold out to the Russians in 2016.
