Mollie Tibbets and Sadie Alvarado - Two Young Women

The search for Mollie Tibbets goes on. When it was reported that they found a young woman's body in Iowa, a lot of people assumed it was Mollie. It wasn't, and that was reported pretty quickly. The dead woman was Sadie Alvarado, and a man has been arrested in regard to her death. That was mentioned briefly in a national news story about Mollie Tibbets.

But then, we heard no more about the woman whose body was found. That made me curious. Apparently the victim of foul play, apparently a dead woman isn't as interesting as a missing one, so no follow up was done by the national news media, even thought the Mollie Tibbets story continued to be covered heavily.

Why? That's what I wonder. I found stories about it by searching for the woman's name on Google, but it just didn't make the evening news, I guess.

I'm still puzzled why one story continues to get coverage, but a dead young woman is forgotten because she's not the missing Mollie Tibbets. She's Sadie Alvarado. She was 20. She had a nice smile, too, as does Mollie Tibbets...

Odd, I think.
