Trump's sudden “love” for the flag is about revenge. He doesn’t care about the flag, but he does care that owners denied him an NFL franchise. They rejected him, and he wants to harm their business.

It's not the team owners' fault that a man they determined didn’t have the business skill, integrity or temperament to own a football team was elected president by a minority of voters on Election Day.
