Excerpt:
This shocking video shows armed men lining people up face down or sitting against a wall and shooting them with automatic weapons. A second round of shooting ensures no survivors. Here is yet more credible evidence to support the allegations that Cameroons armed forces have committed grave crimes against civilians, and we are calling for an immediate, thorough and impartial investigation. Those suspected to be responsible for these abhorrent acts must be brought to justice, said Ilaria Allegrozzi, Amnesty Internationals Lake Chad Researcher.
Last month we analyzed footage from another location which showed two women and two young children being killed by soldiers who were clearly members of Cameroons armed forces. What further evidence do they need before they act on these atrocities?
Amnesty International has documented multiple extrajudicial killings, as well as the widespread use of torture by Cameroonian security forces who are fighting against the armed group Boko Haram in the Far North region of the country.
Amnesty International researchers analyzed the weapons, dialogue and uniforms visible in the latest video, as well as testimony and satellite imagery, to conclude the approximate timing and exact location of the executions, and determined the suspected perpetrators to be members of the Cameroonian security forces.

Another one has gone over there to be with his family. He is stressed out!

That is horrible. What an unimaginably awful situation there.

(269,063 posts)2. Funny that you posted nothing about the slaughter of the children in Yemen
by Saudi's using US weapons.
Those kids were returning from picnic when their bus was bombed.

(58,724 posts)4. That's a lie
I've been posting about the carnage in Yemen for years.

They usually get ignored (like the bottom one that I posted in June with zero responses)

In any case, I share your frustration that no one seems to care or want to talk about what is happening in Yemen, but I have made a point to post about the conflict here at DU frequently over the years, so I do not appreciate your comment above.

I did not see that - you did respond

I appreciate your apology - and, again, I do share your frustration about DU not generally wanting to give any attention to what is happening there (or Cameroon).
