pssst, the issue is how to continue to euphemistically hide the name ['Trump'], [the elephant in the courtroom], as the evidence gets ever closer to [you know who].

4. Here's my reasoning

It's all about the security officer being called to the bench. In my experience, 27 years of trial practice, security officers are often tasked with "babysitting" the jury. They escort them to and from the jury room, act as go-between with the court for issues, questions. Pair that with the judge's admonition for the jurors not to look at items on the attorney's table and I think it's a reasonable assertion that the security officer was told by a juror/jurors that there was an issue with something seen on attorney's table. The break would allow for the judge and counsel to bring those jurors into chambers and ask questions about what transpired. If that is what happened, the judge obviously believes that the jurors/jurors were not so compromised that they must be removed.
