Funny thing about Pelosi supposedly being so widely disliked

According to a recent Gallup survey, Pelosi's approval rating is actually 5 points higher than McConnell's and 10 points higher than the approval rating for Congress as a whole.

Schumer's score matches Pelosi's, while Ryan's beats all the rest, perhaps because he's a on the way out the door anyway and avoids raising some people's ire by not doing anything.

Here are the approval ratings, from high to low:

Ryan: 40

Pelosi: 29

Schumer: 29

McConnell: 24

Congress as a whole: 19

Nancy is not a narcissist like Trump. She does not demand loyalty to herself.

She works to keep the party together and focused on fundamental democratic principles. She knows the intricacies of how the House works. The fact that members feel they are allowed to distance themselves from her from time to time (for campaign or political issues, or honest disagreements on policy) is a good thing.

Pelosi is just the target of the hatred. She is from the hated "California" (leftest liberal state that is hated because we tolerate others, we have a huge economy, the intellectual and entertainment elites have located themselves here, etc.. but mostly hated because California is doing pretty good, despite the fires, landslides, and occasional earthquakes). She is from the hated "San Francisco" (the home to all those Gay people, socialists, oh and tech millionaires and gazillionaires).

Trust me... whoever Democrats put forward as a leader of the party and potential Speaker of the House or Majority Leader of the Senate... even if it was Joe (barely a democrat) Manchin... the repukes would be going on about how awful that person was, how liberal they are, how the Democrats are corrupt child molesters, etc. etc.

What, exactly, does Pelosi do or promote to warrant such hatred? What position does she hold that is so far left as to be completely out of the mainstream of current American political thought?

The answer is nothing. Absolutely nothing.

They just need someone to scare the white older voter in places like Michigan and Virginia that voting for a Democrat puts the hated liberal Pelosi in power again.
