(31,261 posts)Perjury only comes seriously into play if a person knowingly lies. Lying is different from mis speaking.

(16,254 posts)If he just said yes or no, he might be OK, but he tends to go into a long dialogue to make his reply more detailed (even though the details are false and gets him in trouble.). If he says yes or no and shuts up, he is usually lying and afraid you are going to ask more questions or prove that you know all about the subject AND know if he is lying.
Deep inside, he knows Mueller is more intelligent, but he can't resist the urge to take him on. It is pretty damned sad that his lawyers know he lies and have basically admitted it to the public.
Washington couldn't tell a lie and Trump can't tell the truth.
