What Mitch McConnell should do....
He should try to unite this country.
He has the power, if he should choose so to use it.
In the spirit of bi-partisanship and for the progress of our nation, he could hold off on the Supreme Court nomination until after the midterms? That would be the fair and human thing to do. But, you ask, is Mitch McConnell "fair and human"?
After all, he did not permit Obama to get Merrick Garland approved for the Supreme Court. Everybody knows where Mitch stands.
It would be too much to ask Mitch to do the "right thing"...
But, the winner will be the person that can unite this country.
