Michael Avenatti is knowledgeable about the issues and I greatly appreciate his advocacy

But I'm not supporting him for president* Let the Republicans nominate dilettantes.

*in a Democratic primary of course. I will support our ticket regardless of who is on it.

I will support him if he runs. Especially an Avenatti/Holder ticket leftofcool Aug 2018 #3
If he does run and win, he will be the first Italian-American president. TheBlackAdder Aug 2018 #4

I agree. That being said, if by some fluke he won the Dem nomination, I would not hesitate Arkansas Granny Aug 2018 #5

Ted Lieu would be great too. Shapiro is a lot of things, most of them not good, but he isn't stupid.

I would hope we all come out and the support the Democratic ticket, whoever that is, in force. Until then, I’ll sit back and enjoy Avenatti’s manipulation of the Squatter in Chief.

vote on "do I find this person attractive and interesting? could I be friends with this person? does he/she remind me of my favorite uncle/aunt?"

Don't be surprised if Avenatti jumps in and actually does okay.

Having said that, the intersection among that large percent of American voters who are simple-minded and Democrats is relatively small. Avenatti might make it interesting, but unless he is convincing enough on the issues and policy, it ain't gonna happen imo.
