Yes, in tiny little Goldsboro NC Al Gore opened his environmental justice campaign. Listening to him speak it was impossible not to think what should have been. He would have been a sensational President.

22. That is funny that I read this post today.

As I was falling asleep last night I thought about how different the world would be right now if the GOP hadn't stolen the election and Al had been the POTUS for 8 years instead of Bush. It is hot, there are fires and we have just begun to see Climate Change occurring in our everyday lives.

He was into Climate Change and I am fairly certain that there would be a ton of policies and serious funding for preparing for it as well as trying to slow it down. Instead we had an unnecessary war that damaged our reputation as a country and wasted tons of our money and resources among other things.

The Iraq war never would have happened, all those soldiers who died for nothing would still be alive, and we'd have the trillions of dollars wasted back in our treasury
