A man hired as a contractor to do repairs at a Los Angeles-area apartment building says a resident went on a racist rant against him and his co-worker before throwing a cup of hot coffee in his face.
Miguel Sanchez videotaped the incident in a now-viral video, in which the woman can be seen blocking the workers car from entering the garage while walking two small dogs.
Sanchez told Los Angeles KTLA News that the woman used racial slurs against the two men and did not believe that they were there to work on the building.
"She was calling us wetbacks, and that we were probably there to steal stuff," Sanchez said. "After all those racial comments on us, I got my phone out and started recording."
In the video, the woman is heard yelling that that she told the men to get out of my face, before throwing the cup of coffee at Sanchez, who was recording.
Sanchez said he called the Los Angeles Police Department, who responded to the incident and told him that he would need to request a private person arrest, since officials did not witness the incident.
Sanchez declined to move forward, saying that he was not severely burned, and did not want to hurt his relationship with the contractor.

(49,388 posts)racist, coffee tossing jackass to the cleaners. Hint: Saying you are "not severely burned" doesn't help your case.

(81,513 posts)After Sanchez called police, LAPD officers arrived on the scene and, according to KTLA5s report, noticed Sanchezs face was still bright red. However, since they didnt witness the attack, they explained it was up to him to request a private person arrest. Fearing repercussions from his job, he opted not to press charges however he has since shared with Latino Rebels that he is reconsidering his decision after Polon began sending threatening messages to his wife:
Polon is the owner of Spin Gal Fitness in West Hollywood, CA, and according to Latino Rebels has made her Instagram page private and deactivated her business Facebook Page (Spin Gal Fitness) after the video of the incident went viral.
