This is what the biggest fraud of the 21st century looks like

Paul Ryan may be retiring having cemented his reputation as a fraud, but he’s a very successful fraud!

For the second time in his life, he’s helped transfer trillions in wealth to the richest Americans and for the second time in his life he’s laying the predicate for a massive financial crisis that will then likely result in even more destruction of the middle class and, eventually, even greater gains for the very richest, who have never been richer, given that Republicans have now, possibly inexorably, chained fiscal power to political power.

And the results are in:

Expect to see this chart framed in Paul Ryan’s new office, where he’ll serve as the American Enterprise Institute’s Chair of Pretending to Care the Deficit and the Poor Despite Overwhelming Evidence That You Believe the Exact Opposite.

Real wages are actually down when adjusted for inflation since the tax cuts became law, as the meager gains are almost entirely wiped out by the rising costs of oil (which is rising in part because we’re punishing Iran, a country with no nukes, for abiding by a nuclear deal while rewarding North Korea, a country with nukes that’s obviously cheating us, and this is all the plan of the exact fools who brought us the Iraq War, including Paul Ryan).

They are without a shred of decency and without a shred of compassion they bilk the guidable working class Republicans leaving them destitute. They are the well paid lackeys of corporate greed and gladly sold the dumb ass workers that unions were their enemy and they would be well taken care of. They were well taken care when they bought the crap of Right to Work Laws. Now they have the right to starve and I don't have an ounce of sympathy for the racists, homophobic jerk offs.

McConnell, as well. They don't walk around with those shit-eating grins because they have done an honest and remarkable job and are proud as punch about it.

Hopefully, Mueller will call them in to discuss those remarkable jobs of covering up for The Boss and, after their failed memories can't remember, Mueller will tell him all he knows. Let's see those smiles after that happens.

Shoot, even keeping it in the family was probably a borderline crime.

That's quite the chart. It should be thrown up in the face of every single Republican campaigning for re-election.

All the treasury drained, nothing to work with. Any new money will be pre-spent already just to fix things again. No money to actually enact progressive policies like universal healthcare, which will take a lot of start up money. So just as the economy is starting to recover again they are on their way out (see Bill Clinton, Obama) but will get blamed for the first years when it was still bad. Republicans will use that anger, plus a lot on the left will be despondent with not getting anything they wanted for America, which further feeds the idea that your vote doesn't matter.

Rinse and repeat. Somehow we have to figure out how to break this cycle.

campaigning should have this printed on billboards and shoved into the spotlight of the MSM. We Dems need to play hardball and do some bragging about our achievements for once. If the party ran with this (and promised REAL tax cuts and jobs) and affordable health care they could win on those two issues alone.
