Kellyanne Conway to WH Press Corps: 'Why is Everybody So Obsessed with the President?'

A gaggle of White House press reporters caught White House Senior Advisor Kellyanne Conway entering the West Wing this morning and predictably peppered her with many questions of the news of the day.

How did Ms. Conway respond to questions a the press corps with a sole purpose to cover the President of the United States?

“Why is everybody so obsessed with the President of the United States that they can’t even begin or finish a sentence without mentioning his name five times.” In case her odd incredulity of the questions was lost, she added “It’s kind of weird.”

A skeptic might find it kind of weird that she takes issue with reporters doing their jobs, but others may find her obfuscation and “best defense is a good offense” approach to be a refreshingly candid play to the base.

from a policy point of view, he's the most inept president perhaps ever. he's has had and will have virtually no legislative accomplishments. the tax heist is the only major law passed and that was largely an off-the-shelf republican pile of crap that any republican president would have signed. donnie had little input beyond carving out a sweet deal for pass-through companies like his own businesses.

a lot of his executive orders run up against the courts.

most of what he gets attention for is his hate and ignorance spewing nonsense, which america would do well to stop giving nearly as much constant play.

Kelly Ann. Please put your thinking cap on and look around you. If you aren't worried about Donald Trump, you aren't thinking. His ideas on tariffs are, themselves, downright dangerous. Dealing with our trade deficit is important, but his solution, unilateral tariffs, is dangerous to world peace and our own producers.

And then there are his egomaniac measures like firing Comey and depriving people of their security clearances. He appears childish and seems to be seeking attention.

Please. You are smarter than to be a Donald Trump apologist. You can do much more for the world.
