My "WTF?" of the day, "Christian" stupidity department...

This guy was hit in the head with a big family Bible too often.

Christian Evangelist: Anyone Who Dies Isn’t “Operating in the Laws of God”
By Hemant Mehta
August 16, 2018

Christian preacher Andrew Wommack has always been one of those guys known for making wildly ridiculous claims in the name of Jesus. Last year, he even criticized Christians who complained about cancer, saying cancer was really “no big deal” since Jesus would save you in the afterlife.

Now he’s saying that if you die, it’s totally your fault. He made the argument during his livestreaming Bible Study yesterday.

Wommack’s argument is that God has the power to heal everybody. All we need to do is follow His spiritual “laws.” Therefore, people who die must have disobeyed God somewhere along the line.

3. Good God, wasn't that the parodied 'theme' of an episode of Moral Orel?

The show didn't make fun of Christians in general or religion, but did really rip on the hypocrites and fundamentalists.

You see, in that episode, Orel interpreted what he was being taught, that God gives you life as a gift, so that by dying, you are sinning because you reject God's gift.

So Orel turns everyone who has died in town into zombies, problem is, they're naked. The other thing they're parodying is the priorities of the conservative Christian people, the town is up in arms about it, and it's not that they are brain eating zombies, it's that they are brain eating zombies who are naked.

You can't parody the right wing evangelicals anymore.

cliffs where everyone on-board dies in a fiery explosion?

These people are just sick. It amazes me that so many people listen to what they have to say.

Even a lifetime of suffering must be nothing compared to an eternity of divine contentment...but the biblical Jesus acted to relieve suffering, showing that that's not the case.

And again, and again, and again.

I'd go so far as to call him a heretic.

9. ... Some of those present told him about the Galilaeans killed by Pilate as they worshipped.

And Jesus said, Do you think they were greater sinners than the rest of the Galilaeans, because they suffered that way? Or do you think the eighteen who died when the Siloam tower collapsed were the worst sinners in Jerusalem? I say, certainly not!! ...

Nothin' goes on without God knowing about it and willing it.

God made you sick in the first place. Now you are going on, telling Him he fucked up and needs to make you better?
