What Fux & Friends DIDN'T Mention This Morning. (Propaganda Lowlights)

I watch Faux News so that you don't have to.

Faux News is charged with covering for Republicans and their ridiculous President to the GOP voting base. Their job is to put lipstick on the pig, and some days it's harder than others. On their WORST days, they can't possibly spin the unspinnable, and just have to ignore it. Not mention it at all, and hope their troglodyte viewers don't find out about it from some other news outlet. I tend to be happiest on the days when Faux News goes completely silent on a story, because you know it was a direct hit. When they spend the day talking about trivial bullshit, while ignoring a very significant anti-Trump story, you KNOW they're in a panic. I LOVE IT when they're forced to ignore the great, bit GOP ELEPHANT in the room.

The 'news' shows like 'Special Report' often have no choice but to cover things as briefly as possible. But Hannity and Fux & Friends are particularly behind the eight ball, because they KNOW that Trump is watching, and they're playing to an audience of one.

Here's what neither Hannity (last night) nor Fux & Friends (this morning) said a single word about:

Admiral McRaven's Op/Ed in the Washington Post, trashing Trump for removing Brennan's security clearance. Every other outlet spent the day covering it, but they didn't say a word.

No doubt they were afraid that if they even mentioned it, Trump wouldn't be able to stop himself from tweeting about McRaven being a 'lowlife loser' etc., and that would be very hard for them to back him up on.

Instead, Hannity filled up his hour bashing and trashing Bruce Orr and his wife; and Fux & Friends somehow managed to fill up THREE hours talking about Cuomo's stupid "America was never that great" thing, and a letter Lindsey Graham sent the FBI asking why they told Feinstien about her spy driver, but didn't tell Trump about spies in his campaign. (Be careful what you wish for, Lindsey. If the FBI actually ANSWERS that question, it might BECOME the story. As opposed to the story that was meant to DISTRACT from the story.)

What did 'Special Report' do? They covered McRaven saying it was BAD to revoke Brennan's clearance for about one minute, and then dragged in one of their paid shills, a half-assed little brigadier general named Tata, who writes fiction novels these days, and gave him TEN minutes to counter that it was a GOOD thing. Nice try on the false equivalence there, guys.

Okay...let's see if they ignore the new letter today, signed by 60 former senior intelligence officials.
