He was supposedly abusive to the first three's mother, and also witnesses have said he punched Donnie Jr. Ivanka has made very clear that if she hadn't-- as a young teen-- kept "pursuing" him after the divorce, she would almost never have seen him. He apparently saw Tiffany only a couple times a year when she was a child. He pays utterly no attention to Barron (which is probably best for the poor kid).

I see no evidence of love, especially sacrificial love. I think he'd put himself before each of them, and his wife too. He's already fixing to sling Donnie Jr in Mueller's path.
