An Alien on a distant planet reports to his superiors that it has been discovered that the beings on a planet called Earth have discovered nuclear weapons over 70 years ago and have stockpiled massive amounts of them. The superior says we must go there to prevent them from becoming a threat to another planet.
That won't be necessary, says the first Alien. You're not going to believe this, but they are planning on using them to kill each other.

I see the dominant life form has developed space weapons.
Does this mean they are an emerging intelligence?
I don't think so. They have them aimed at themselves.
