Ds need to start talking about how small tRump's base is. The country hates him. Wants him gone.

I am so tired of statistics being misused to prop up tRump.

We constantly hear that this or that % of Rs support tRump, but it is never put in perspective that a mere 27% of Americans identify as Rs.

So: 100% of Rs supporting tRump means that roughly 25% of voters support him. 80% or 40% and we’re down to 10-15% support.

The media loves to say “the country is evenly divided,” but it isn’t. Six out of ten Americans don’t like tRump. A minority of 30-40% like him. If you don’t think 60% of Americans not liking tRump is significant, ask yourself what it would be like if 60% of Americans approved of tRump. Suddenly, that 30-40% looms as a huge gap from that 60%.

Today, I finally heard a commentator bring up the 27% figure on MSNBC when discussing tRump’s support. This fact needs to be raised every time we are told “his supporters have figured in the lying and the affairs and still support him.” The answer should be, “yeah, and they’re only a tiny minority of Americans, a minority that is not growing at all.”

When you break the numbers down, as you have, stopbush, it's very apparent. And yes, it should be a daily talking point.

what they don't tell you is the shrinking base of those willing to say they are republicans.

I think 20% to possibly 25% is all the support he really has (of registered voters).

...and the people PAID to attend his rallies, their numbers just look large.

I post in response to his tweets all of the time, and point out that his numbers are bad, so that his followers will see it. They need to be reminded that they're a minority. They have a bully mentality, and bullies don't like to be losers.

They just like calling themselves "independent." But many of them are Republicans.

Trump's approval rating is around 40%. Not all approve strongly, however.

The single biggest group of people are the non-voters, many of whom probably don't even know this is an election year.

by the news media.

All the concern about Iowa farmers and the ex coal miners and the factory workers in Michigan and Indiana.

It’s white concern about white power, fading away IMO.

The news media feeds white rage in this country.

will uphold Roe v Wade and the same amount for gay marriage. Also, 29% want Roe v Wade upheld and 27% want to reverse gay marriage. Once again the RW media will skew the numbers and make the minority seem to have the strongest numbers and voices. I am sick of the minority dictating for the majority and the MSM giving them a boost. On the other hand CNN has stopped airing his rallies and MSNBC has aired only a few minutes.

*While at my doctor's office today I ended up giving away more of my anti tRump home made pins and bumper stickers ...a little resistance where ever I go. I have worn the same "Lock Him Up" earrings for 1 1/2 years (home made) and will continue to do so even if they don't match my outfits...getting him out of office is more important than being a fashion plate).
