The Trump base could go batshit crazy and openly hostile as the investigations move forward. Once the Mueller report is released and probably indictments are issued. Things will NOT end up pretty. Trump will likely pardon the convicted. And the US will be put on its head when it comes to the rule of law. There will be no rule of law.

Even if they are cowards, when they are armed, you don't know that.
