This was a joyous day because we need justice

For the first time in almost 2 years, we saw a glimpse of justice. The Trump cabal of criminals saw two from the inner circle face justice. This group of thugs will be held accountable. We still have a system of justice that won’t stand for the Trump illegal presidency. It’s been a nightmare for 19 months with no let up. We’re a long way from returning America to a functional Democracy, but today was a sign that these crooks are not above the law.

So take strength from today, this is a long fight, but the American justice system still has a role. And please, get out and rally people to vote in November, it’s more important than ever and is the last chance to avoid fascism.

I had forgotten why Manafort was cut from the campaign 2 years ago, had to look it up.

He was let go for questionable financial shenanigans and shady ties to the Ukraine

Even the campaign knew he was a crook

They knew his ties all along. He was cut because his ties became public.

Just like they cut ties with Trump’s main speech writer because his ties to White Supremacists became public last week.

2. Like all crooks, they didn't think they would get caught, if they lost the election nobody would care. By chance they won the election so they acted like they were in charge now and were untouchable

6. The last few months have been rough.

It seemed like the whole crew was going to walk away with no punishment. And since they have no shame it was even worse. Finally there is a sign of these two having to answer for their crimes. Plus the orange one has been implicated. All in all a good day. Hope returns.
