Yes, there are many idiots out there that think Trump is innocent...Here is a fact to consider:

At the time that Richard Nixon resigned from the office of President of the United States on August 9, 1974, he had an approval rate of 27 percent. That is a little more than one in four still approved of that crook who resigned from office.

Yes, Nixon was in charge of an evil cabal, many who went to jail, for different crimes. but at that moment,
....one in four still approved and wanted him to remain..................

...........Therefore, as Trumps numbers go down to 30 percent, and less, please understand, there will be some who will always approve of Mr.Trump/crook.. Why? that is who they are...So, you don't think that is true? Look up Nixon's last approval before he resigned. That is what you will find. I didn't believe it either..

I won't say never, but I'm doubtful. I think his following is different than Nixon's probably was. Garrett78 Aug 2018 #7

Called the "hard deck" (It's a NAVY reference) of supporters. They will believe no matter what. They are: 1) religious zealots that cherry pick the bible, 2) NRA gun nuts, 3) "Sovereign" citizens/militia members/white supremacists and 4) die-hard republicans who will never vote democrat on pain of death.

Catch him for 20 minutes every Wednesday on Stephanie Miller's newscast (YouTube). Well worth it. The man is never wrong.

Talking to me about doing his dissertation on Reagan’s preemptive policy. So of course I asked him if he referring to the embassy in Lebanon being attacked and Us kicking Granadas ass. Johnson’s tapes had just come out and I mentioned Nixon’s treason. He said maybe Nixon thought he was doing the best thing for the country. Right! Seven more years war. For the love of God! PHD’s for this shit and trickle down economics; UFB! K-12 is so Important!

so Trumps percentage probably won't come down as far as Nixon's. Then again, maybe because of social media, news galore, etc it will come down even further than the 27%. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Anyone who has Republican friends understands that.

None of this exists to them.

You cannot say that frequently enough

In Republican circles none of this is happening, and even if you accidentally hear about it there is no reason to give it a second thought

It will take some time..people will need to talk, and you are right, some will never be convinced. But some will and it will get close to 30%. But we will watch the show and see what happens..

Trump's following is cult-like, which would explain why his approval rating has been steadier than any of his predecessors. It truly wouldn't matter if he shot someone on 5th Avenue in broad daylight.
