of immediately deferring to Molly Tibbett's murder and the arrest of an illegal alien.

Other than that, the Repugs have been unusually quiet. Hmmmmm.

3. The usual GOP spokes-whores ...

... on CNN tonight were obviously stunned by Cohen's allocution, and therefore unprepared to respond to it.

The half-hearted attempts to do so were (a) trying to change the subject to the "illegal immigrant" charged with murder in Iowa, and (b) saying that Cohen is a liar and can't be believed.

One CNN contributor (can't remember the name) attempted to paint today's events as "proof" that because Manafort's convictions and Cohen's guilty pleas had nothing to do with "Russian collusion", Mueller had obviously not found any collusion and has been reduced to pursuing other charges.

It's going to take at least 24 hours for the PTB in the GOP to get their act together - and their talking points memorized.
