Newspapers around the world reacted Wednesday to the bombshell news that two of President Trump's former associates former personal attorney Michael Cohen and former campaign chairman Paul Manafort are guilty of committing felonies.
The big picture: It was one of the most newsworthy days of 2018, and the worldwide media did not hold back in their efforts to encapsulate the threat that these men pose to Trump.

(1,670 posts)Is it really news?
That Trump was surrounded by criminals was obvious in 2016. It sold advertising. That he is still surrounded by criminals is likewise obvious.
A truly unique and newsworthy headline would be Well duh, Trump Associates are corrupt. That wont happen for a very simple reason, it is an implicit admission that the press not only covered the horse race, but helped put it on.

(1,115 posts)I live in a red state and a red community. My friends and neighbors
do not appreciate my opposing the G.O.P.
I am planning two yard signs for my porch eaves.
Signs in the yard get stolen or destroyed.
I plan on a G.O.P. sign next to a Trump sign.
My neighbors will be pissed.

(10,175 posts)No Russian collusion. They accept evidence of vote rigging, global warming; they think the religious right is crazy and they don't buy into trickle down/free trade. Yet, following the evidence that Traitor Trump is an asset of Putin's and the Russian mob's is beyond their ability. I just don't get it.
It's as if Alex Jones admitted Sandy Hook was caused by uncontrolled gun proliferation.

Thanks for providing the link. It was an eye opener for me.
