Lanny Davis knows Mueller's number. Why are we using Rachel's show and others as the way to talk to Mueller. Why hasn't Lanny made the call and, if so, why hasn't Mueller answered ?

Feels off. Almost like Mueller is saying, indirectly, "I don't need what you have (anymore)". Maybe all that B/S Rudy was slinging a month ago really did neuter the value of Cohen's cooperation.

is his actual "defense" lawyer. Since the Trumpsters are fighting all this in the media, Cohen hired Lanny Davis to do so on his behalf as well.

You can be sure there is a parallel track with Petrillo talking with Mueller's people.

2. I see it more as an attempt to protect Cohen.

It's out in the public now that Cohen has info about Trump's personal involvement in dirty dealings with Russia. Makes it harder for him to be disappeared without implicating Trump or the Russians. Also, adds the cherry on top to yesterday's plea. Although Trump and his apologists are trying to argue that yesterday's plea didn't implicate Trump (truth isn't truth), info about actual involvement with Russia can't be so easily dismissed.

There is also the paper trail providing corroboration, including the check to Cohen made in Feb, 2017 to reimburse and the fact that the Trump Org accountant has been subpeonaed to testify before a grand jury already and can attest to that and all other payments.

So, no, don't believe what Trumpsters are trying to plant in the media. Cohen is not without the ability to back up what he says.

5. Mueller already knows

Whether or not Cohen went to Prague to pay off the hackers.

Everything Cohen plead guilty to yesterday was already known about in the public domain. Is that a coincidence? I doubt it. Many people were left wondering, "Well, what about......." all the other things including the fact that both Bannon and Avanatti say they paid off numerous women. Is it possible that "all the other things" implicate Trump even worse and that is where he will cooperate? Davis stated last night that Cohen is now bound by the plea deal to "tell the truth about everything".
