You are considering misallocation of federal funds to public schools, to allow each state (and their districts) buy weapons to "protect" students. The congressional budget BTW specifically prohibited use of federal funds for that purpose.
OK, let's say you do that.
What are you going to do about teachers who refuse to buy those weapons, who refuse to be trained how to kill people? What are you going to do about substitute teachers who took an ad hoc job that day to teach the letter "J" to Kindergarteners? Will the subs be part of your plan?
