Who in the Republican party has really shined? Who in the party is the face of the future, someone with charisma and common sense?

Figured it out yet?

The vice-presidency will remain vacant!

The 25th Amendment says: "Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress."

To rephrase: Nobody within their party is deserving of the vice-presidency (or the presidency, of course).

I'm tellin' you, Pence wants a Theocracy and I struggle to see how he could be any better than Trump, given the power.

A guy can dream.

Actually I think it would be Nikki Haley. She would run with him in 2020 assuming she goes along with it.

Chances are the Republican primary would be open as well. Pence would not be viewed as an incumbent. My bet is some combination of Senator Cotton and Amb. Nikki Haley will be the GOP ticket.

...it won't be for long and repubs will still need a broadly palatable "Ford" to come in and stop the bleeding. I hate to say it but that could be Kasich.
