"Just think, for a moment. A national war hero who fought in Viet Nam, was a decorated officer and distinguished himself during his capture as a POW. A man who served his country in Congress and the US Senate and was his party's nominee for President."
"That man dies after a lengthy fight with cancer. He will be eulogized by the man who defeated him in 2000 for the Republican nomination for President, George W. Bush and the man who defeated him in the general election in 2008 for President, Barak Obama. Now, just think for a moment and listen with an open mind. Just think what a fucking no good, piece of shit lying asshole mother fucker you have to be if you're the sitting President of the same party and one of Senator McCain's last requests is that that thieving, conniving, traitorous fucking scumbag is not allowed to even be present at his services"
Just think. What kind of a man can Trump be?

(15,012 posts)Based on previous experience in the non-political areas of life, I don't expect my Trump-humping relatives (the subset which are Trumpists, I mean) to be able to follow any argument that a) doesn't invoke strong emotions and b) is more than 1 sentence long.
But that's just my frustrating family members, maybe.
Your point, however, about McCain/GWBush/Obama/Trump is spot on.
