FLIPPABLE: Sue Mullen for NH-HD Hillsborough 7
I was born as the youngest of 4 children, raised in Manchester, and graduated from West High School in 1974. Many of my childhood memories involve my lifelong Bedford friends. My parents were both born and raised in Manchester, as well, so my roots run deep.
I graduated from Keene State College in 1978 and immediately went to work for the Bedford School District. I taught 12 years as a classroom teacher at McKelvie. After receiving my master's degree from Northeastern University, I was a school counselor for Bedford for another 27 years. With 39 years of service to the Bedford School District, I retired in June 2017.
I have lived in town since 1988. My wife, Susan, and I raised two children here, and
we are the proud grandparents of four exceptional little people.
My heart and soul belong to Bedford, so it seems only natural that upon retiring, I
am seeking a new way to serve the community.
It is typical for 1000+ bills to be introduced during any particularlegislative session. While it is true that many never make it out of committee, many do, and it is essential that our elected officials are knowledgable about the details of any bill that might affect the constituents who elected them.
It is often the information buried in a bill that has the greatest impact on us all.
As a critical thinker and creative problem solver, I can promise you my best efforts in making sure that I am both informed and thoughtful in representing you in the House.
