I saw one at the Stop Kavanaugh protest today and the owner said it wouldn't go up even though it was filled with helium. It went up 12' and sort of stopped. I wanted to buy one since I have seen them advertised here on DU and it was really cool looking in person but I don't know if I should now.

(51,611 posts)Hundreds in the US and thousands around the world for the Climate Rally.
On Sept 8 were planning thousands of actions and events in cities and towns around the world to demand our local leaders commit to building a fossil free world that works for all of us. No more stalling, no more delays: it's time for 100% renewable energy for all.
This September, cities, states, businesses and civil society from around the world are gathering in California for the Global Climate Action Summit.
The Summit has invited every mayor, governor, and business leader in the world to make a bold climate commitment to help the world reach the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.
Plan or join an event on September 8. If your elected officials commit, your rally can be a celebration. If they fail to act, it's a chance to hold them accountable.

(51,611 posts)If helium doesn't give it enough of a lift I don't know what else you could inflate it with to get it to go UP and UP.
