MSNBC and CNN spent major blocks on McCain this a.m.
If Fox did anything, it was brief. I kept checking in and saw nothing.
They show their true colors once again.

(15,334 posts)every other fucking news source, from the alphabets to the local Community Lantern paper would report on the fact that FOX NEWS HAD TO LOCK THEIR COMMENTS SECTIONS ON EVERY JOHN MCCAIN STORY because it read like the comments were coming from the depths of hell.

(19,359 posts)Before Trump, Fox & Friends, onthe Monday after McCain died, would have devoted segments to his memory, as MSNBC and CNN did. (These two even had full page "in memory" introductions and segues)
We have seen the Republican congress warm to Russia, tarrifs, needless walls, a break with traditional allies, and embracure of traditional embassies, and look the other way as our democracy might be in the process of being drastically compromised. (And some may even be aiding in the latter.)
We have seen evangelicals condone child separation, sexual assault ("grab them by the p*ssy" , child molestation (Roy Moore), etc.
Now even the rabid, right-wing press as turned on one of its own heroes immediately after he died after spending (or mis-spending) a lifetime of service on behalf of what he thought was best for this country and Republican Party.
What's the answer? How? How can this be done?

Nothing about the flag over the WH.

(19,359 posts)Fox and Friends barelyt mentioned him. Now in the 9:00 block EST they are honoring him directly and quoting others in his life &c.
Apparently Fox & Friends is particularly tribal and doesn't want Trump to think they are disloyal.
The worst of the worst. But then there's Hannity.
