Wherin Alan Dershowitz and Fox News lament that law-enforcement investigates wrongdoings.

https://www.rawstory.com/2018/08/alan-dershowitz-goes-bonkers-fox-can-target-trump-can-target-can-target-anyone/

During an interview with Dershowitz on Fox & Friends, host Brian Kilmeade noted that President Donald Trump is besieged by investigations into his campaign, business dealings, charitable foundation and possible constitutional violations.

“I’m looking at this and I’m asking myself, why?” Kilmeade opined. “Why do you need to get to the bottom of this now? All those things were good or bad before he ran. This is an attack on a president because you don’t like him. Why is that allowed?”

Dershowitz immediately agreed.

“There’s no doubt about that,” he began. “They have targeted the president, they have targeted his business… The vulnerability is in the business and they have targeted. They have said, ‘Look, we’ve known about Mr. Trump’s business dealings for years. We’ve never looked into them. But now, we’re going to start looking into them.'”

“If you look deeply into any complicated business, you’re going to find a loan somewhere in which income is overstated, liabilities are understated,” he added.

...

“It’s targeting people!” Dershowitz exclaimed. “And if they can target President Trump, they can target you, they can target anyone. That’s the problem.”

“Why do you need to get to the bottom of this now? All those things were good or bad before he ran. This is an attack on a president because you don’t like him. Why is that allowed?”

Incredible! Why can't law-enforcement simply continue to not investigate these things?

“And if they can target President Trump, they can target you, they can target anyone. That’s the problem.”

It's not a bug. That's how it's supposed to work.

They have entered a realm of sheer lunacy. The same people screaming about undocumented immigrant criminals are completely nonchalant about all of the shady stuff Trump and/or his campaign have been alleged to have engaged in before, during, and since the 2016 Election. They would be raging like thunder if Trump was a Democrat make no mistake about it.

You don't care if the President of the United States can be subject to blackmail? You don't care that he's badly compromised and in thrall to foreign leaders? The evidence, such as it is, is pretty stark, and further investigation is yielding more and more evidence of it.

With no evidence at all, except for some still photos of a tall man inclining his head to hear what a shorter man was saying, you guys at Fox conjured up an entire apology tour for President Obama, and a list of foreign governments that all had him on a leash. Now, you're confronted with actual evidence of a badly conflicted president, and you're more concerned about his business dealings (which he supposedly divested) than the integrity of our nation and its government.

How do you fuckers sleep at night?

That's the problem with our criminal code - They are targeting PEOPLE! - Go after the cats, dogs, horses and cows - empty out our prisons full of those targeted people.

There is no attempt to say Trump and his ilk aren't guilty. The argument NOW is that it isn't fair to prosecute crimes he has committed.

They've conditioned the sheep to believe this, suspending the reality of Trump's lifetime of criminality and lawlessness.

No, you sanctimonious fucks, this isn't a personal vendetta. We're not like you. We don't conjure up fake investigations that are literally political witch hunts. We run on facts. We apply the law. You do the crime, you do the time.

Quit projecing your own callousness to us.
