In the Oval Office just now I asked @realDonaldTrump if he had any thoughts on the legacy on John McCain. He heard me but did not answer.

Maybe he thinks it covers the ruddy complexion underneath. Or it makes him appear tanned and rested, ready for action. Lots of people get seduced by what they see in the mirror. Just look at some of the make-up trends that countless women use and spend lots of money to achieve.

For sure, tRump likes the look and while he toned it down for a while after the inauguration, he obviously decided he needed to go back to that totally fake, artificial look. So fitting for a guy like him. Fake and artificial. That’s him to a tee.

his staff has warned him over and over not to make any statements regarding McCain. He has all the finesse of a bull in a china shop. He cannot be trusted to utter a single word of condolence so it is best to just keep his trap shut. Play deaf. What an oaf.

A 50 year old woman, a Democrat now running for Congress, once plead guilty at age 18 for stealing a loaf of bread to eat when she was homeless and on the streets.
A 50 year old man, a Republican running against her, plead guilty at age 45 of embezzling over 10 million dollars in a ponzi scheme he created to bilk hundreds of people out of their savings.

Media: Voters in this district have a very tough choice with two admitted criminals on the ballot.

Anybody with a job like a journalist is most likely to be a

open to new behavior or opinions and willing to discard traditional values.
"they have more liberal views toward marriage and divorce than some people"

(of education) concerned mainly with broadening a person's general knowledge and experience, rather than with technical or professional training.

the more educated you are the more likely you will be a liberal...

'Liberal' shares a root with 'liberty' and can mean anything from "generous" to "loose" to "broad-minded." Politically, it means "“a person who believes that government should be active in supporting social and political change."

So these mature adult liberals, who happen to be reporters, have to PRETEND both sides do this or that...it is going to be our downfall

Yes, most reporters lean younger and more liberal.
However, most all of media management (and certainly ownership) are conservative.
Which group do you think sets the narratives and agendas for media outlets?

Whenever he's confronted and doesn't know what to do, he sits there with his arms crossed like that.

He hates confrontations. He avoids them if he can help it. And he can't control this press all the time, so he sits there pouting like a fucking three year old.

that a politician and POTUS is so unable to even attempt to navigate the minefield of having to eulogize a political opponent.

The man has ZERO people skills, empathy or wit. This should be a no brainer: “Sen McCain and I disagreed on many issues and in the heat of campaigning for the party nomination I said things which I regret. In spite of our political differences it cannot be denied that John was a brave patriot who loved his country...” etc. etc.

It’s not that hard, Donny, all it requires is a modicum of basic human decency. Which is something you don’t have, never did and probably never will.

1. If he gave his true feelings, it would be nasty and cruel.

2. If he gave some platitudes, it would be obvious BS.

Just not sure what the point of asking this question is as there is nothing informative that could possibly come out of any response to it from Trump.

I think anyone can hear the plaint "Well, those liberally biased reporters never asked him about McCain! You don't know he couldn't have said something marginally acceptable." Only in Trump's America could a routine question on the death of a prominent politician turn into a "gotcha" for the president.
