Since GOP Messaging Is A Mess, Rockwall Republicans Are Pushing A “Badass” Ted Cruz Image While The State Party Slams Beto O’Rourke’s Seriously Cool Past.

Yesterday, the Rockwall County Republican Party proudly shared that it had printed up some keepsake posters depicting Ted Cruz as a shirtless, muscular, tattooed, cigarette-smoking badass.

The artwork is a ripoff of a 2014 poster by Sabo, who is known as the “right-wing Shepard Fairey.” When it first made the rounds back then, Cruz was pleased with it, saying that “the only thing [he saw that] was wrong with the picture is that he doesn’t smoke.”
