Several media organizations reported on Friday reported that Gladys Knight revealed at Aretha Franklin's funeral that she also has pancreatic cancer.

The singer's spokesperson, however, told the Free Press that is not the case.

"She's healthy. Someone must have misinterpreted," said Javier Delgado, a publicist with JDS PR, which represents the onetime Motown star.

or some other disease. Why did the reporter conclude that she was talking about pancreatic cancer? Anyway, whatever her battle is, she is in my prayers.

I only read the tweet. After watching that clip, it does seem as if she was talking about pancreatic cancer. Her nonverbal communication spoke volumes. Why would her publicist walk it back, after she already put it out there?
