Bharara: Trump's Sessions tweet "next level crazy, inappropriate, unethical, stupid, incriminating"

This, by the way, is next level crazy, inappropriate, unethical, stupid, incriminating.

Editing to add the Trump tweet he was responding to, just in case Trump deletes it after the widespread condemnation:

Two long running, Obama era, investigations of two very popular Republican Congressmen were brought to a well publicized charge, just ahead of the Mid-Terms, by the Jeff Sessions Justice Department. Two easy wins now in doubt because there is not enough time. Good job Jeff......

Not sure about stupid, because stupid people seldom can get elected president.

Trump is a moron. He got elected because he has no problem being unethical, nor do all of the people surrounding him, some of whom actually are kinda smart. Cheetohlini just sits back being an idiot, and lets other corrupt, unethical people clean up his messes.

The problem is the Congress, run by equally criminal Republicans. Crime and racism is their current mode of operation.

Idi Amin had more integrity than these people.

They're not sitting there with their thumbs up their asses; they're shovelling our money into their coffers as fast as they can. Some of that transfer is direct, but most is through their owners by way of deregulation (pollution and corruption for profit) and tax breaks. They are hard at work dismantling any and everything that does not favor the ultra rich (individuals or corporations).

If they can recreate the culture, conditions, and government of the time of the robber barons (when J.P. Morgan loaned the U.S. gold to keep it afloat), they believe they can maintain power and luxury for themselves in perpetuity.

They ARE enriching themselves - at our expense. The "thumbs-up-the-ass" position is assumed whenever it comes time to protect the rights of the MAJORITY the did NOT vote for IQ45 and expect their elected officials to do what is right for the country, not themselves!

34. Yet more deliberate misinformation for his base
Mon Sep 3, 2018, 11:48 PM
Sep 2018

Trump makes a habit of bringing Obama or Hillary into the picture whenever he can to link them in people's brains to the allegations he makes. Besides his base, it can work on people who don't follow the news, low-information voters.

He's a conundrum. Stupid as all get out in many ways, while a master of propaganda and influencing an audience. I wonder. Some smart people with dementia cannot think through or learn new or complicated information. But in the well-worn areas in which they've thought a lot and formed strong opinions and habits, they can retain reason.

At least that description fits my day who turned 92 on Saturday. Unusually bright, a rebel, lifelong union member who owned and operated a union printshop in Austin, and a self-declared socialist. Doesn't get the details of medical information anymore, and his exceptional math skills have started deteriorating, but can make a strong argument on topics he's passionate about: Bernie, the Federal Reserve, and so forth. He's quite inflexible and very hard to persuade of anything. But I did get him to vote for Hillary in 2016.

Just wonder if some of that fits Trump. As a mobster and a huckster, he's thought of grifting, conning, and intimidating his whole life, so it makes sense if he still retains some abilities there, but is totally unable to understand tariffs and trade wars, international relations, and a host of other things associated with being president of the United States.
