For the young women who disdain the term "feminist"

recommend to see RBG. No law firm would hire a woman who was at the top of her class. But at some point we see a small list of

In 1970:

A woman could be fired for being pregnant

Bank could require a man to co sign a loan to a woman

A rape by a husband could not be prosecuted.

And we are talking 1970!

Couldn't get a small loan in a bank or credit at the store to buy a TV without the husband co-signing. I couldn't believe this was happening in the '70s.

What if you were a single woman?
