Just curious: Woodward finally did talk to Trump

Woodward doesn't seem to know, but I am guessing that staff blocked it because an interview with Woodward would have been embarrassing. Even that brief phone call was awful, essentially confirming how dysfunctional the White House is.

so it's not like Woodward didn't try. Trump was told by Graham and just didn't want to talk to Woodward, very obvious to me.

12. Trump pulled the same "oh, no one told me" schtick

on Omarosa Newman during a recording she made of a phone conversation. "No one even told me about it. ... You know they run a big operation, but I didn't know it. I didn't know that. Goddammit. I don't love you leaving at all." She claims he placed this call to her after being completely unavailable before she left.

I'm not crazy about Woodward, but he's known for decades of scrupulously factually accurate books, something like 18 or so of them, that have all been picked apart detail by detail. If you wanted to disbelieve anyone, you'd be safest questioning the credibility of the other person.

1–Trump is so delusional that people hide things from him to prevent him from making horrible mistakes. Or,
2–He’s lying.

My personal opinion is that it’s probably a combination of the two.

that Omarosa had tapes that backed up Woodward's assertions, and that she was happy to release them because she could contribute to The Cause!

7. If I wanted to interview Trump

I would write a formal, certified letter with a return receipt.

And then I would ask his inner circle for help to make it happen.

I am pretty certain there would be no response anyway, though.

9. I think Trump ended up calling Woodward when he realized a damaging book would be

coming out. He contacted BW after the manuscript was completed and wanted to know why he wasn't given a chance to have his say.

I heard the tape which was on several programs and Trump kinda wish that he's talked to him before. Even asked Conway why he was not connected.
